Brian Drahman pitched in 47 games over 4 years in the major leagues. He had a record of 3-2 and 1 save. All 5 of his decisions came in his rookie year of 1991 with the Chicago White Sox. He pitched in 28 games that year with a solid 3.23 ERA. He pitched in 5 games each in 1992 and 1993 with the White Sox, picking up his only save on October 2, 1993 against the Cleveland Indians. He pitched the last inning in a 4-2 White Sox win, giving up 2 hits. He pitched in 9 games with the 1994 Florida Marlins, getting no decisions and a high ERA of 6.23. Although he did not pitch alot of innings, his career 3.54 ERA is almost half a run better than average for the years he pitched giving him a 115 ERA+.
Since his playing career ended, Drahman has been a minor league coach. In 2006, he became manager of the Sussex Skyhawks of the independent Can-Am League, where he managed for two years. In 2008 he will be the pitching coach of the Winston-Salem Warthogs.
