Pitcher Brett Sinkbeil was selected by the Florida Marlins in the first round of the 2006 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that year with the Jamestown Jammers, where he went 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 5 starts, before being promoted to the Greensboro Grasshoppers, where he went 1-1 with a 4.99 ERA.
