The National League Atlanta Braves franchise started in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings, became the Boston Red Caps in 1876, changed their name in 1883 to the Boston Beaneaters, then became the Boston Doves in 1907, before becoming the Boston Rustlers in 1911.
As the Boston Rustlers, the franchise won 0 Pennants, appeared in 0 playoffs, and appeared in 0 World Series in 1 season of play.
In their only year as the Rustlers, the team is again lead by manager Fred Tenney, who leads the team to a record of 44-107, and a 8th place finish in the league.
In 1912, the Boston Ruslters became the Boston Braves (1912-1935).
