[edit] Biographical Information
Bobby Vaughn was at Princeton University between 1904-09 and then made his major league debut on June 12, 1909. He appeared in only 5 games with the 1909 Highlanders.
Years later, in 1915, he came back to the majors, playing in the last year of the Federal League for the pennant-winning 1915 St. Louis Terriers as their regular second baseman. His backup was Al Bridwell, a long-time major leaguer who also closed out his major league career that year.
In 1917 he played for Los Angeles and for Vernon in the PCL.
