In 1989, Bob Molinaro played for the Gold Coast Suns of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He hit .298 with 5 home runs and 36 RBI, and stole 11 bases with the club. In 1990, Molinaro played for the Fort Myers Sun Sox, also of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He played in 22 games and was batting .339 when the league folded.
