Bobby Hughes was a frequently-used backstop for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1998-99. In 1998 he backed up Mike Matheny while in 1999 he and Brian Banks backed up Dave Nilsson.
He had hit .310 for Tucson in 1997.
He was at USC at the same time as Aaron Boone.
