Bobby Durnbaugh appeared in the major leagues in 1957. He grounded out to shortstop against Milwaukee's Lew Burdette in his only major-league at-bat, which came on the last day of the 1957 season.

Signed by the Cincinnati Reds in 1951, he played in the minors for Omaha and Nashville, among other teams.

One source says he still lives in Dayton, OH, where he was born.
