Longtime major league scout Bob Zuk was responsible for signing Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson, Willie Stargell, and Gary Carter. Zuk was a scout for 10 clubs over a 46 year career (1957-2003). Among other teams, Zuk scouted for the Pittsburgh Pirates (?-1965), Kansas City A's/Oakland A's (1966-1968), Atlanta Braves (1969-1971), Montreal Expos (1971-1976), Baltimore Orioles (1978-1979), Toronto Blue Jays (senior scouting supervisor 1980-1982), Philadelphia Phillies (1983), and Seattle Mariners (1985-?).
