[edit] Biographical Information
Bob Herold played seven professional seasons in the Kansas City Royals organization, the Mexican Leagues and in Colombia, South America **.
Herold played in 1971 for the Kingsport Royals at first base, hitting .258/~.320/.444 in 66 games. His 8 home runs tied for second in the Appalachian League, two behind leader Terry Whitfield. It is his only documented seasons in the US or Mexico.
Herold was an assistant coach at the University of Louisville in 1974, Nebraska-Omaha from 1975 to 1978 and Creighton University in 1985-1987. In 1999 he was the hitting coach for the Omaha Golden Spikes and in 2000 Herold became the head coach at his alma mater.
