Bob Friedrichs, who was at College of the Holy Cross in 1929-31, came to the majors in 1932. Also at Holy Cross while he was there was Gene Desautels.
While with the 1932 Senators, he was managed by Walter Johnson and he was the same age as teammate Joe Cronin.
