[edit] Biographical Information

Bob Edmondson was a two-way player for the Washington Senators in 1906, appearing in two games as a pitcher and one as an outfielder, and played as an outfielder in 1908.

In his 10 innings as a pitcher in 1906, he gave up five runs.

His name is spelled Edmundson in some sources. He has been confused with Sam Edmonston who played for the Washington Senators in 1907, while he had played for the same team the previous year. Through 2008 there have also been three other major leaguers with the last name Edmondson and one with the last name Edmonson.

Most of his minor league career was in the South, usually with Houston. In 1904 he hit .340 with 15 home runs and also pitched in 23 games. In 1908 he hit .391 with Galveston.
