Bob Dustal pitched seven games for the 1963 Detroit Tigers. His minor league career ran 15 seasons, in which he won 111 games in spite of mostly being a reliever.
On the 1963 Tigers he was a year younger than Al Kaline and four years younger than fellow pitcher Jim Bunning.
Dustal managed three years in the minors.
He led the Puerto Rican League in 1962-63 in wins and ERA.
Bob retired in 2007 from a job with the city of Lakeland, FL.
