Bob Alejo was the conditioning coach of the Oakland Athletics from 1993 to 2001. Previously, he was a conditioning coach at UCLA (1984-1993). He was director of strength and conditioning at UC Santa Barbara from 2005-2008 and was a coach for the US men's beach volleyball team at the 2008 Olympics. He returned to the A's as conditioning coach in 2009.
