[edit] Biographical Information
Bo Hart was a shooting star who quickly fizzled for the 2003 St. Louis Cardinals. Hart was recalled on June 19 when Miguel Cairo broke his hand.
He immediately started hitting. In his first game he had a double and a triple in three at bats. He had two four hit games in his first ten. After ten games, he was hitting .460. In fact, his batting average stayed above .400 until his 16th major league game.
Hart stayed in the lineup for the rest of the season but his hot hitting never returned and he finished the season at .277.
The following season, he was sent to Memphis after spring training. He briefly was recalled in April. He was sent down on April 29 and has not been in the majors since.
Bo Hart is currently the starting second baseman for the Lancaster Barnstormers in the Atlantic League.
