Bo-sung Chun (천보성)

Bo-sung Chun has been a player, coach and manager.

Chun was a part-time third baseman for South Korea in the 1978 Amateur World Series, going 1 for 13 with 3 walks and five strikeouts; he made one error in six chances at the hot corner. When the Korea Baseball Organization formed in 1982, the 28/29-year-old Chun hit .267/~.347/.333 in 36 games for the Samsung Lions. Chun batted .247/~.314/.408 in 71 games for the 1983 Lions, then .217/~.299/.294 in 1984. Overall, his batting line in the KBO was .239/~.314/.347.

After winding down as a player, Chun became a coach with Samsung. He later managed the LG Twins. In 2004, he became head coach of his alma mater, Hanyang University.

Chun coached for South Korea in the 2009 Baseball World Cup and managed them in the 2011 Baseball World Cup.
