Blaise Kozeniewski was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 16th round of the 1992 amateur draft. Orginally drafted as infielder, Kozeniewski was converted to a pitcher. He also spent time as a replacement player during the 1994 Strike. Kozeniewski was traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Tim Raines before the 1996 season.
