Billy Wynne had one complete game shutout in his major league career. It was on June 22, 1969 against the Los Angeles Angels as a member of the Chicago White Sox. He gave up 7 hits, walked 1 and struck out 3. The White Sox won the game, 1-0.
He was the only member of the starting rotation in 1969 to have a .500 record.
