[edit] Biographical Information

1B/OF Billy Smith played in the minor leagues from 1950 to 1960, missing the 1955 season. Except for his first season, he played exclusively in the Boston Braves/Milwaukee Braves' organization, reaching as high as the Southern Association in 1953. Smith also managed the Boise Braves in 1958-1960 and 1963.

Smith was later a Toronto Blue Jays coach from 1984 to 1988.
