Catcher Billy Raimondi collected 1,937 hits in the minor leagues between 1931 and 1953. He hit only 12 HR but stole 112 bases. In 1936, he was on the Cincinnati Reds roster, but was injured and didn't play. Raimondi got his start in the Arizona-Texas League (1931-1932), but is best known for his 21 seasons in the Pacific Coast League (1932-1953), most of them with the Oakland Oaks. On the last day of the 1943 season, Raimondi played all 9 positions in the game for the Oaks. He also managed the Oaks for part of 1945 and the Magic Valley Cowboys for part of 1956. From 1956 to 1958 Raimondi was a scout for the Chicago Cubs. He is a member of the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame.
