After his playing career ended, Billy Goodman was an Atlanta Braves coach from 1968 to 1970.
In his first pro season, Goodman led the 1944 Southern Association with 13 triples and 122 runs. He then missed the 1945 season due to military service before returning to the Atlanta Crackers in 1946.
