The Billings Mustangs were a member of the Pioneer League from 1948 to 1963 and again since 1969. They have won fourteen league titles in that time. In 1971, Hall of Famer George Brett played for the club. Since 1974, the Mustangs have been a farm club of the Cincinnati Reds. For their entire existence, they have played at Cobb Field in Billings, Montana.
