Bill Wilkinson was signed as a 4th round pick in the 1983 amateur draft by the Seattle Mariners and scout Jeff Malinoff.
Wilkinson is the great grandson of Jim Bluejacket and brother of Brian Wilkinson, minor league pitcher.
