- Pitched a two-hitter on May 5, 1987 as a member of the Chicago White Sox against the New York Yankees. It was his first appearance and start of the season. The hits were two singles by Dan Pasqua. Joe Niekro also pitched a two-hitter in that game, but the White Sox won 2-0.
