[edit] Biographical Information

Bill Johnson was an outfielder for two years with the Philadelphia Athletics. He served in the US Army during World War I. Later he was a laborer at a motion picture studio. He died at age 58 from congestive heart failure and is buried at Los Angeles National Cemetery in Los Angeles CA.
