[edit] Biographical Information

Played for the New York Giants farm club Jersey City Giants from 1939-1943, then managed their Erie Sailors farm from 1944-1945, and scouted for the Giants from 1946-1951. Harris moved on to the New York Yankees as a scout from 1952-1956. Next he scouted for the Washington Senators in 1957 and 1959, before returning to the Yankees from 1960-1962.

Harris is also listed as having managed the Reds' Yuma Sun Sox entry in the Arizona-Mexico League for a portion of 1956.
