Bill Groves has been a college coach.
Groves was assistant coach at the University of Utah (1981-1982). He then was head coach of Southern Utah University (122 wins from 1983-1989). He returned to the assistant ranks at Brigham Young University from 1989-1993. He guided Salt Lake Community College to 208 wins from 1996-2002. He then returned to Utah as an assistant again.
