Bill Fincher pitched 12 games for the 1916 St. Louis Browns, posting an ERA of 2.14, much better than the 1916 American League ERA of 2.82.
He did, however, allow a number of unearned runs.
Fincher's most notable year in the minors was 1920 for San Antonio when his record was 21-11.
