[edit] Biographical Information
Since his playing career ended, Bill Doran was the Farm Director of the Cincinnati Reds in 2000, and has been a coach with the Reds (2001) and Kansas City Royals (2005-07). Late in the 2006 season, he was interim manager of the Royals when skipper Buddy Bell took a medical leave. Doran was named minor league infield/baserunning instructor for the Reds for 2008.
