[edit] Biographical Information
Bill Bradley was a good-hitting third baseman from 1899-1906. Altogether, his career in the majors lasted through 1915, when he played in the Federal League. His best years were in 1902-04 when he was among the batting and slugging leaders. He was also a strong fielder in his prime years.
Bradley's 60 sacrifice hits in 1908 set a record at the time, and the number was only bested by Ray Chapman in 1917.
Bradley scouted for the Cleveland Indians for 25 years until he retired in 1953.
