[edit] Biographical Information
Bill Annis was the fourth outfielder on the 1884 Boston Beaneaters, who finished second in the 1884 National League. Annis, 27, mostly backed up the 22-year-old centerfielder Jim Manning in Manning's rookie year.
Annis died in 1923 in Kennebunkport, ME, a year before George H. W. Bush was born. Bush was not born in Kennebunkport, but spent much of his early life living there.
