[edit] Biographical Information
Bill Harris played for the New York Giants farm club Jersey City Giants from 1939-1943, then managed their Erie Sailors farm team from 1944-1945, and scouted for the Giants from 1946 to 1951. Harris moved on to the New York Yankees as a scout from 1952 to 1956. Next he scouted for the Washington Senators in 1957 and 1959, before returning to the Yankees from 1960 to 1962.
Harris is also listed as having managed the Reds' Yuma Sun Sox entry in the Arizona-Mexico League for a portion of 1956.
