Outfielder Bert Hunter was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 2nd round of the 1985 amateur draft. He led the 1988 Florida State League with 148 strikeouts, and never made the majors. He stole 285 bases in his minor league career.
Hunter has been the manager of the AZL Giants since 2002.
