Bert Hamric had two cups of coffee in the major leagues, first with the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers and second with the 1958 Baltimore Orioles. His claim to fame was his first and only major league base hit at age 30 with Baltimore, while striking out 6 times in only 8 at-bats.. His professional baseball career ended in 1961 in the Kansas City chain.
