Bert Conn appeared three seasons in the majors. In the first two seasons he was a pitcher while in the field, whereas in the last he was a second baseman. As a hitter he slugged .400.
Conn was born in Philadelphia, PA and played his major league games with the hometown Phillies. Bert also played 17 seasons in the minors, pitching some years while playing infield or outfield other years. He was a player-manager from 1910-13.
