  • By midseason 1995, he already had two extra inning game winning hits.
  • Stole more than 50 bases twice in the minors, leading Texas League in 1993 with 53. Also led Texas League in runs in 1993 with 104.
  • Had 3 hits in one inning in 1990 versus the Nashville Sounds while playing for the AAA Louisville Redbirds. He hit a tree-run homer and 2 singles during the 16-run inning.
