Benjamin Franklin "Benny the Jet" Rodriguez was a fictional baseball player featured in the movie "The Sandlot". The star player on the Sandlot, it seemed clear that Benny was destined for greater things in baseball. In fact, at the end of the movie it is revealed that he had a Major League career with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The younger Benny was played by Mike Vitar. The older Benny, in the final scene, is played by his brother, Pablo Vitar.
