[edit] Biographical Information

Benn Karr pitched some 20 years in Organized Ball, including six years for the Red Sox and Indians and 15 years in the minors. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. After he retired from baseball, he moved to Earle AR and became a planter. He died at age 75 at the VA Hosptial in Memphis TN and is buried at Crittendon Memorial Park in Marion AR.
