Ben Froelich caught one game in the majors. Although born (and died) in Pittsburgh, PA, his game was with the 1909 Philadelphia Phillies, for whom he was the youngest position player on the team.
Red Dooin was the regular catcher.
Although remembered by the first name "Ben", his real name was actually William Palmer Froelich.
