- With the Burlington (NC) Indians in 1987, Allred topped the Appalachian League in average with a .341 mark, slugging percentage-.617 and OBP-.479.
- With the Canton-Akron Indians in 1989, Allred was third in the Eastern League in batting. He led Canton Akron in at-bats (412), hits (125), doubles (22), triples (5) and stolen bases (16) that year as well.
