Beals Becker played 8 seasons in the National League, appearing in three World Series. He was second in the league in slugging in 1913 as well as second in the league in batting in 1914.
He also had a minor league career. In 1907, he led the Western Association with a .310 batting average. He had also played with the team in 1906. Later, he played minor league ball from 1916-25.
