[edit] Biographical Information

Pitcher Barry Manuel was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 2nd Round of the 1987 amateur draft. In 1990, pitching for the Charlotte Rangers, he was a Florida State League All-Star and led the league with 36 saves.

Manuel was a reliever for Team USA in 1986, going 2-1 with 3 saves and a 4.33 ERA; his ERA was second-highest on the team that summer. He was with them for the 1986 Amateur World Series.
