Outfielder Barney Lutz played in the minors from 1936-1954, only twice reaching AAA. He frequently topped .300 and hit .389 with 131 RBI in 1950 for the Bradford Phillies; it was his only season over 89 RBI and his only season with double-digit home runs (an even 10). He missed 1944-1945, due to World War II service.
