Art Schult played five seasons in the majors for four different teams. He was in 59 games at first base and 56 in the outfield.
He played for Seattle in 1955.
His son Jim Schult is in the Mercy College Athletics Hall of Fame. A top slugger in college, Jim was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 1981. Another son, Ray Schult, played for Pace University.
As of 1994 he lived in Florida.
