Arthur Eugene Reichle Jr.
Art Reichle was head baseball coach at UCLA in 1941, then left the team to serve in the Army during World War II. He returned in 1946 and remained their coach until 1974. Under his leadership, UCLA went 747-582-12 (220-273 in conference play) and produced big league stars Jackie Robinson and Chris Chambliss. His finest season was 1969, when the team reached the College World Series.
