Infielder Arnie Beyeler played six seasons of minor league ball in the Detroit Tigers' system. He hit .285 in 127 with the Fayetteville Generals in 1987 and reached the AAA level in 1991.
Beyeler was a scout for the Tigers from 1992 to 1996. He was a coach in the New York Yankees' system from 1997 to 1999 including the Norwich Navigators in 1998 and 1999. Beyeler was then a manager in the Boston Red Sox chain (2000-2002) and Texas Rangers chain (2003-2005). In 2006 he was coach for the Mobile BayBears, and after that season, he became manager of the Portland Sea Dogs.
