Arlie Tarbert played in the majors in 1927-28.
Tarbert played baseball and basketball at Ohio State University. He was at Ohio State from 1925-27, and made his major league debut in June 1927. He was the same age as teammate Billy Rogell.
Although his first name was Wilbur, his yearbook identified him as W. Arlington Tarbert.
Boston later sent him to Hollywood in the PCL.
