The Lobos de Arecibo are based in Arecibo. They won Puerto Rican League titles in 1983 and 1996. They also won the 1983 Caribbean Series. Past players have included Orlando Merced, Dickie Thon, Ed Figueroa and Juan BenÃquez. They also field a womens' baseball team (the Lobas de Arecibo) which won the first two Puerto Rican titles (2008-2009 and 2009-2010).
