[edit] Biographical Information
Poor Archie "Lumbago" Stimmell had the misfortune to go 5-19, winning only 20% of his decisions.
He is a cinch to make the "All Medical Ailments Team", along with Joe Strain, Aaron Clapp, and perhaps Al Lefevre and the various Lefebvres.
His three years in the majors were with the 1900-02 Cincinnati Reds, teams which featured the young Sam Crawford and Harry Steinfeldt. Stimmel was several years older than them.
