Apichat Ngamying played for the Thailand national team in the 2006 Asian Games. In the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he split shortstop with Anukul Sudsawad and second base with Nirun Jaroenkitsiriwong. He was 2 for 13 with a walk, run and 2 RBI (the only player on Thailand with multiple RBI in the event). He handled 18 chances on defense without an error. He will represent Thailand in the 2010 Intercontinental Cup. The 30-year-old was Thailand's third-oldest player after Teerasak Kongsabai and Somsak Sarnwit.
