Anukul Sudsawad played for the Thai national team in the 2006 Asian Games. He scored once against Cuba and twice versus Venezuela as Thailand's leadoff man. He fielded .846 as Thailand's primary shortstop and also saw some action in the outfield. He led the first round of the tourney in swipes, but Australia's Trent Oeltjen (a future major leaguer) finished with more overall after Thailand was eliminated. Sudsawad is with Thailand for the 2010 Intercontinental Cup.
